Pocket Kickoff

Kickoff is seconds away. Grab the ball, find the gap, and fire it past the defenders.

Pocket Kickoff is a fast top-down mini soccer game for your browser. Play 2v2 on a small pitch: you control one player, your AI teammate covers the rest, and control jumps to whichever teammate is closer to the ball (or press Q to switch yourself).

Work your way through a three-match league, from the quarter-final to the final. Every opponent is faster, sharper and harder to fool than the last. Each match lasts 75 seconds, and a draw goes straight to a golden-goal overtime.

Want to play with a friend? Choose Online Play, create a room and share the 4-digit room code. Your friend enters it and you are connected directly, with no account or download. Play a 1:1 duel where you each lead a team (every side still has an AI teammate), or team up in 2-player co-op against the AI.

Hold Space to charge your shot and release to fire, and sprint with Shift when you need to break away. Aim roughly at the goal and the shot will be nudged the rest of the way.

Play directly in your browser with the keyboard: WASD or the arrow keys to move, Shift to sprint, Space to shoot, Q to switch player, Esc to pause. League progress saves in your browser after every match.

Online play needs an internet connection. Some school, office or mobile networks block direct connections, in which case the room cannot connect.

Includes sound effects and crowd ambience, with an optional mute setting.
